Frequently asked questions.

Can I get my brows laminated if I am pregnant or nursing?

Yes! It is just fine for you to receive this treatment while pregnant or nursing. However, it is important to note that, similar to any beauty service, you speak with your doctor before booking your treatment if you have any concerns. Additionally, be sure to mention your condition to your service provider as there is a slightly increased risk of skin sensitivity during pregnancy.

How long does brow lamination last?

Our exclusive products are designed to last 6-8 weeks, depending on the individual. Factors that may affect the longevity of your lamination include proper aftercare, density / texture of brow hairs, and products used on the brow area post treatment.

Who is unable to receive a brow lamination treatment?

-Anyone who has been on Accutane or any other oral retinoid within the last year.

-Those who have highly sensitive skin or is highly prone to allergic reactions.

-Someone who is actively using retinol, AHA, BHA’s, or any acne medication. We suggest stopping use of these products at least one week prior to your treatment.

-Anyone who has trimmed their brows in the two weeks prior to their lamination appointment.

-Those who have received micro needling, chemical peels, or other invasive treatments within a week prior to their lamination.

Will lamination make my brows super bold & dramatic?

Initially, yes. During the first 48 hours, your brows will appear darker and bolder than they will after the setting period. After the first 24 hours, you may gently wash your brows and begin styling them as you wish. After 48 hours, they begin to soften in appearance.

It is also important to note that our brow lamination is fully customizable to your own preference.

What are the benefits to brow lamination?

-Pain free procedure that has little downtime and maintenance.

-Added fullness, definition, and density with a lifted appearance.

-Makes styling at home incredibly simple by cutting down the amount of time and products needed.

Is there aftercare to follow post lamination?

Yes! The aftercare is one of the most important components to ensuring the best outcome after your brow session.

-Do not wet your brows for 24 hours after your treatment.

-After a week or two, start applying oil to your brows each night to keep them hydrated and prevent breakage.

-Avoid abrasive chemicals, physical exfoliants, or scrubbing of the brows while removing makeup.

-Limit sun exposure during the initial 24 hours post service.

I lost some brow hair after my lamination, help!

There could be a number of reasons why you may notice more brow shedding than usual after your brow lamination. First thing to know, is that our eyebrows shed naturally and it’s often not noticed until after your treatment because you are paying particular attention to the area and brushing your brows more than ever before, so be careful to brush gently!

Also, the brows will be more delicate and smooth than their original form, so be gentle when removing makeup, use a soft towel when drying your face, and avoid heavy products such as pomades & firm hold gels when styling.

Can I get my brows laminated sooner than every 8 weeks?

While some people will want to have their treatment done sooner than the 8 week mark, it’s important to be sure that the previous lamination has worn off completely before performing another session, to ensure the long term health & integrity of the brow hair.

8 weeks is the ideal range between treatments but will be assessed on a case by case basis for those who have high density & coarse texture who may need less time between laminations.
